A 3.46 g sample of limestone(CaCO3 ) was dissolved in 0.1M (HCI)
solution according to the following equation.
CaCO3 (s) + 2HCI (aq) => Ca2+ (aq) + 2CI -(aq) + CO2(g) + H20 (1)
Excess 0.1M (NHa),C,04(aq), was added to the resulting solution
to precipitate the calcium ions as calcium oxalate, Cac,O4(s)
The precipitate was filtered, dried and weighed at 2.03 g.
Determine the percentage by mass of calcium in the limestone
sample.

Four meiotic divisions are required for the formation of four oospheres and only one meiotic division for the formation of four male gametes. The later is enclosed permanently inside ovule, that ripens into seed.
