Here is the answer---

Power of the Motor = 3 HP.
 = 3 × 746 W. [Changing Horse Power into Watt]
= 2238 W.

Power Input or Required Power = 2.4 kW.
= 2400 W.

Now, Using the Formula,

 Efficiency = (Power Output/Power Input) × 100%
∴ Efficiency = (2238/2400) × 100%
⇒ Efficiency = 2238/24
⇒ Efficiency = 93.25 %

Hence, Efficiency of the Motor is 93.25%.
