Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

3 liter of % 25 pure pineapple juice.

A part of %25  pure pineapple juice is replaced by %100 pure pineapple juice.

The % of pure pineapple juice in the resulting mixture is % 30.

To Find:

The quantity of % 25 pure pineapple juice   taken out.

Formula Used:

Quantity of %100 pure pineapple juice / Quantity of %25 pure pineapple juice  = ( Strength of %100  pure pineapple juice - Mean Strength) / (Mean Strength – Strength of %25 pure pineapple juice  )-------------formula no.01

The above is per the rule of the allegation.

Solution:

As given- 3 liter of % 25 pure pineapple juice.

               A part of %25  pure pineapple juice is replaced by%100 pure pineapple juice.

                The % of pure pineapple juice in the resulting mixture is % 30.

Strength of %25 pure pineapple juice. = % 25

Strength of %100 pure pineapple juice. = % 100

Mean Strength= % 30

Applying formula no.01.

\frac{Quantity\ of \ \% 100\ pure \ pineaapple \ juice  }{Quantity\ of \ \% 25\ pure \ pineaapple \ juice}   =\frac{(100-30)}{(30-25)}

                                                         =\frac{70}{5} =\frac{14}{1}

The quantity of % 25 pure pineapple juice  taken out  =\frac{1}{15} \times 3\ liter

                                                                                           =\frac{3}{15} =0.2\ liter

                                                                                                    =200 \ ml

Thus, the quantity of % 25 pure pineapple juice taken out  is 200 ml.
