A 3 m wide path runs around just outside a rectangular garden 90 m long and 70m wide. Find the cost of building the path at the rate 120 per m2​

first find the perimeter of garden=2(90m + 70 m)

=2×160 m

= 320 m

perimeter of garden = length of path

320m = length of path

area of path = 3m × 320m

= 960m²

area of path is 960m²

cost to build the path = 960m² × 120

= 1,15,200
