Length of the park= 125m

Breadth of the park= 65m

Area of the park= l\times bl×b

=125m\times65m=8125m^2=125m×65m=8125m ²

Length of the park including path

=125m+3m+3m=131m

Breadth of the park including path

= 65m+3m+3m=71m

Area of the park including path

131m\times71m=9301m^2131m×71m=9301m

2

Area of the path

=9301m^2-8125m^2=1176m^2=9301m ²

−8125m²

=1176m²

Hence the required area= 1176m^21176m
