a 3 phase i.m having a star connected rotor has an induced emf 80v between slip rings at standstill an open circuit.the rotor has a resistance and reactance per phase of 1 ohm and 4 ohms respectively . calculate the current/ phase power factor
a) when slip rings are short ciruited
b) when slip rings are connected to a star connected rheostat of 3 ohms per phase.
