Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of supplementary angle = 180

(a+30) + 2a = 180

3a = 180 - 30

3a = 150

a = 150/3

a = 50

1st angle: a+30 = 50+30 = 80°

2nd angle: 2a = 2(50) = 100°

Answer:

Solution-

#Sum of the measure of supplementary angles is 180°

∴ (a + 30) + (2a) = 180°

∴ a + 30 + 2a = 180°

∴3a + 30 = 180°

∴3a + 30 = 180°

∴3a = 180 - 30°

∴3a = 150°

∴a = 150/3

∴ a = 50°

i). ( a + 30 ) = 50° + 30° = 80°

ii). (2a) = 2 × 50° = 100°

Ans- The measure of ( a + 30 ) and ( 2a ) is 80° and 100° respectively
