A 30 kg boy who has fallen into a hole is being lifted by a helicipter with a rope which can with a maximum force of 60 kgf. With what maximum acceleration should the helicopter rise so that the rope does not snape? (Take g= 9.8m/sec^2)

This shows that tension in the string should not be more 60N

weight of boy=30kg

max. force with which ,boy can be lifted up=maximum tension in the string=60N

60=30×a(max.)

a=2

this shows that,boy can move up with Max. acceleration of 2

so,for the boy to rise,,the maximum acceleration of t helicopter=2m/sec^2

{Hope it helps}
