Thus, length of the rectangular plot is 2x.

Given, length of wire used to fence the rectangular plot = 300 m = Perimeter of plot.

Thus, 2 (l+b) = 300 m

2 (2x + x) = 300 m

2 (3x) = 300 m

6x = 300 m

x = 300/6 m = 50 m

Thus, Length = 2 x 50 m = 100 m

And, Width = 50 m
