induced emf is given by,

\quad\bf{\xi_{in}=Bvl}

where \xi_{in} denotes induced electromotive force, emf through conductor, v is the speed of conductor normal to magnetic field B and l is length of conductor.

here, B = 0.05T , v = 20m/s and l = 30cm = 0.3m

so, \xi_{in}=0.05\times20\times0.3

= 0.3 volt

hence, induced emf = 0.3 volt
