A 30gm bullet is shot from a gun of mass 15kg a speed of 500m/s. Find the velocity of the recoil of the gun.

Therefore, Fext. = 0

Therefore, momentum is conserved.

U = 1m/s

Therefore, the velocity of the recoil of the gun is 1m/s.
