A 30kg block is to be moved up an inclined plane at an angle 30 to the horizontal with a velocity of 5m/s.If the frictional force retarding the motion is 150N.Find the horizontal force required to move the block up the plane[g=10m/s]

As body has const velocity net accn is 0. So equate net force to 0

The force required to body up an inclined plane is

F= mgsin@ + frictional force

We will get 300

Horizontal force is F/cos@

300*2/√3 = 346 N
