Answer:

PROFIT % = 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

C.P of 30 m wire = ₹ 2160

C.P. of 1 m wire = ₹ 2160/30

= ₹ 72

S.P. of 1 m wire = ₹ 90

C.P. < S.P. = Profit

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

= ₹ 90 - ₹ 72

= ₹ 18

Profit % = Profit × 100/C.P.

= 18 × 100/72

= 18 × 25/18

= 25%

Given:

cost of 30m wire is 2160 ( C.P )

and sold for 90 / m ( S.P )

To Find:

profit or loss % of this

Our C.P is 2160 for 30 m wire

Our S.P is 90 for 1 m wire

so, fir 30 m wire S.P = 90 × 30 =2700.

This is profit because our S.P > C.P

so ,

Profit = S.P - C.P

profit = 2700 - 2160

profit = 540

Profit % = profit / C.P × 100

profit % = 540 / 2160 × 100

profit % = 540 /216 × 10 ( dividing 540 by 216 )

profit % = 2.5 × 10

profit % = 25 %
