Answer:

A 3cm high object is placed at a distance of 30cm from a concave mirror.A real image is formed 60cm from the mirror. Calculate the focal length of the mirror and the size of the image

Explanation:

AND UA ANSWER IS.......

Object distance from a concave mirror is 30 cm

Object distance from a concave mirror is 30 cmthe image distance from the mirror is 60 cm

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/f = 1/-30 + 1/-60

= 2-1/-60

=1/-60

so the focal length of a concave mirror is 60

magnification =

-v/u = image height/ object height

-(-60)/-30 = h / 3

-2 = h /3

h = -6 cm
