Here, we will have two rectangles with 3 m wide path and required area will be the difference between area of these two rectangles.

Please refer to video for the diagram.

Outer rectangle is the park with path and inner rectangle is the park.

Length of outer rectangle=125+3+3=131m

Breadth of outer rectangle=65+3+3=71m

Area of outer reactangle =131∗71=9301m2

Length of inner rectangle =125m

Breadth of inner rectangle=65m

Area of inner reactangle=125∗65=8125m2

So, the required area of path=9301−8125=1176m2

Answer:

length of the path = 125+3+3= 131m

breadth of path =3 m

area of one side =131 ×3=391

area of both lengths = 391 ×2 = 782m

area of breadth = 65 ×3= 195 m

area of both breadths =390m

Step-by-step explanation:

area of both lengths and breadth = 390+782

answer = 1172square meter
