So breath of the larger rectangle will be

(B1) = 65+3 = 68m.

Area of larger rectangle (A) = L*B = 125*68 = 8500m²

Area of smaller rectangle (A2) = L*B1 = 125*65 = 8125m²

Area of path = A1 - A2

= 8500 - 8125 = 375m²
