GIVEN :-

a -  \frac{4}{7}  - a = 5 -  \frac{a}{3}  + 1

on solving......

 -  \frac{4}{7}  = 6 -  \frac{a}{3}

 \frac{a}{3}  = 6 +  \frac{4}{7}

 \frac{a}{3}  =  \frac{(42 + 4)}{7}

a =  \frac{46}{7}  \times 3

a =  \frac{138}{7}
