a^4-b^4 = (a^2 + b^2)(a^2 - b^2)
            = (a^2 + b^2)(a+b)(a-b)

So (a^4 - b^4)/(a-b)=(a^2 + b^2)(a+b)

shreyac9: Can that be simplified further?
praveensingh8344: You can multiply them that will result to a^3 + b^3 + a*b*(a+b)

(a^4-b^4)/(a-b)=(a^2-b^2)(a^2+b^2)/(a-b)
=(a-b)(a+b)(a^2+b^2)/(a-b)
=(a+b)(a^2+b^2)
=a^3+ab^2+a^2b+b^3
