a^4+b^4= [a²]²+[b²]²
use identity

[a+b]²=a²+b²+2ab

transport 2ab to L.H.S side

we get as follows

[a+b]²-2ab=a²+b²--------[1]

then a=a²
b=b²

substitute in equation [1]

we get as follows

a²+b²=[a+b]²-2ab

[a²]²+[b²]²=[a²+b²]²-2a²b²

a^4+b^4=[a²+b²]²-2a²b²
