A 4 cm cube is cut into 1 cm cubes. Calculate the total surface area of the small cubes. What is the ratio of the surface area of small cubes to that of large cube Pls tell asap . I know the answer is 4:1 but I don't know how to solve it . Pls help

and ratio is 4:1

total surface area of cube is

6xa sq.

also volume remains constant mn

so volumes we get "64" of 1cm cubes are out of 4cm cube

after that we get total surface area of 64 cubes is

=>6×64 = 384 sq cm

also ratio of small cubes to large cube area is

=>64:16 which gives 4:1 as answer.
