Using 1,2,5 and 6, total number of 4 digit numbers that can be formed = 4! = 24
the numbers will be odd if it has either 5 or 1 in the unit digit's place.
Number of 4 digit number with 1 at unit digit's place = 3×2×1 = 6
Number of 4 digit number with 5 at unit digit's place = 3×2×1 = 6
total odd numbers = 6+6 = 12
total numbers = 24
Probability of number being odd = 12/24 = 0.5
