The maximum speed at which the ball can swing is 6 m/s .

  • Maximum tension in vertical circular motion is in lowest position.
  • Maximum tension, T =  centripetal force + weight of body

                       T = [(m * v^2) / r] + (m * g)

  • According to the question,

      183.2 = [(4 * v^2) / 1] + (4 * 9.8)

      144 = (4 * v^2)

      36 = v^2

       v = 6 m/s
