Answer:

1.6m

Explanation:

Answer:

1.6m

Explanation:

Torque of 40kg weight must be equal and opposite to torque of 30kg weight

Torque =force×arm length

40kg×g×1.2m=30kg×g×x

X=1.6m

Explanation:

Given :-

  • A 40 kg boy sits 1.2m
  • another boy of 30 kg sit

To find :-

  • Find the other side distance ?

solution :-

Load x Load arm = Effort x Effort arm

  • Here, take the 40 kg boy as the load and the 30 kg boy as the effort.

supposed x effort arm

40 x 1.2 = 30x

48 = 30x

x = 48/30

x = 1.6

Effort arm = 1.6 m

Hence other side at a distance of 1.6 m from the fulcrum.

Internal Information :-

  • M.A.=Load/Effort
  • M.A.=Effort Arm/Load Arm
  • M.A.=Efficiency/V.R.
