A 40 metre long rope is cut into pieces of equal size. The length of one piece is 4/5 metre, Find the total number of pieces .

Answer:

40÷4/5

=40×5/4(reciprocal)

=10×5

=50

Therefore,the rope can be cut into 50 equal pieces
