Explanation:

Molar Mass of ferrous fumarate (C4H2FeO4) = 169.9 g

Atomic Mass of iron (Fe) = 55.8 g

Thus, in 169.9 g ferrous fumarate, amount of iron = 55.8 g

So, in 100 mg ferrous fumarate, amount of iron = 55.8 g169.9 g×100 mg

= 32.8 mg

Since amount of ferrous fumarate in 400 mg capsule = 100 mg

Thus, amount of iron in 400 mg capsule = 32.8 mg

% of iron in 400 mg capsule = (32.8/400)x100 %

= 8.2%
