Given,

Length of the sheet = 44 m

The breadth of the sheet = 11 m

To find,

We have to find the volume of the cylinder.

Solution,

The volume of the cylinder when the sheet is rolled along the length is 1694m³.

We can simply find the volume of the cylinder by using the formula of the volume of the cylinder,

       The volume of the cylinder = πr²h

When the rectangular sheet is rolled along the length, the breadth of the rectangle becomes its height and the length of the rectangle becomes the perimeter of the base of the cylinder.

        Circumference of the base of cylinder = 2πr

                                            44 = 2πr

                                              r = 7 m

                                              h = 11 m

Substituting the values of r and h in the formula of volume of the cylinder, we get,

        Volume of the cylinder = 22/7 * 7 * 7* 11

                                              = 1694 m³

Hence, the volume of the cylinder when the sheet is rolled along the length is 1694 m³.
