Coordinates of point G = (3 , 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

B(0, - 1 ) and C(4,5)

AD is the median

=> D is mid point of BC

D = (0 + 4)/2 , (-1 + 5)/2

= 2 , 2

A = (5 , 8)  D = (2 , 2)

AG : GD = 2 : 1

=> G = (2 *2 + 1 * 5)/3 , ( 2*2 + 1 *8)/3

=> G = 9/3 , 12/3

=> G = 3 , 4

Coordinates of point G = (3 , 4)
