Given:

∆ABC is isosceles

so,AB=AC

∆DBC is isosceles

so,DB=DC

To prove:∆ABD=∆ACD

Proof:

Let us join AD.

We take ∆ABD and ∆ACD,

In ∆ABD and ∆ACD,

AB=AC

BD=CD

AD=AD

•°•∆ABD=~∆ACD

∆ABD=∆ACD

Hence proved.
