position of image = 60cm

size of image = 10cm [ in magnitude]

nature = real , inverted and enlarged.

power of lens, P = + 5D

so, focal length of lens, f = 100/P cm = 100/5 = 20cm

object distance from the pole of Lens, u = -30cm

using formula, 1/v - 1/u = 1/f

⇒1/v - 1/-30 = 1/20

⇒1/v = 1/20 - 1/30 = 10/600 = 1/60

⇒v = 60cm

hence, image is formed 60cm away from the lens (same side of object).

magnification, m = v/u = height of image/height of object

⇒60cm/-30cm = height of image/5cm

⇒-2 × 5cm = height of image

⇒height of image = -10cm

hence, size of image is greater than size of object. image is real, inverted and enlarged.
