object distance (u)= -30

focal length (f)=+15

To find image distance (v),

By mirror formula,

1/F = 1/V +1/U

1/15= 1/V + 1/(-30)

1/15 +1/30 =1/V

2+1/30 = 1/V

3/30=1/10 = 1/V
