Answer:

7 , 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

a = 5

d = 2

Here,

'a' is first term

'd' is common difference

To Find :-

Next two terms of an A.P

Solution :

General form of term in A.P :-

t_n = a +(n - 1)d

where, n = term  number

Second term of an A.P :-

t_2 = 5 + (2 - 1)2

= 5 + (1)2

= 5 + 2

= 7

\therefore t_2 = 7

Third term of an A.P :-

t_3 = 5 + (3 - 1)2

= 5 + 2(2)

= 5 + 4

= 9

\therefore t_3 = 9

terms of A.P :-

5 , 7 , 9 ..

a = 5, d = 2Find next 2 terms of this A. P.

Required Answer :-

a = 5 and d = 2 -(given)

For next two terms,

t2 = t1 + d

t2 = 5 + 2

t2 = 7

t3 = t2 + d

t3 = 7 + 2

t3 = 9

therefore next two terms of an A.P. i.e. t2 and t3 are 7 and 9 respectively.
