hey friend..here is your answer..

v2 = u2 + 2as

0 = 102 + 2 x -10 x s

0 = 100 - 20s

20s = 100

s = 5m

Therefore, it attains a maximum height of 5m

P.E. = mgh

= 5 x 10 x 5

= 2500 J.
