Net acceleration (a) = 80 cm/s^2 = 0.8 m/s^2

Let the force acting towards the left is F.

Force acting towards the right = 10 N

Mass of the body = 5 kg

Using Newton's second law,

10 - F = Net force

10 - F = m × a

F = 10 - m × a

F = 10 - 5 × 0.8

F = 10 - 4

F = 6 N

Hence, the force towards the left is 6 N.
