Answer:

The Total cost of cloth used is ₹ 2750.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Let the slant height of the cone be 'l' m.

Height of a conical tent , h = 24 m

Diameter of a conical tent = 14 m

Radius  of a conical tent , r = 14/2 = 7 m

Slant height of a cone , l²  = h² + r²

l² = 24² + 7²

l² = 576 + 49

l² = 625

l = √625

l = 25 m

slant height of the cone is 25 m.

Curved Surface Area of the conical tent = πrl

= 22/7 × 7 × 25 = 22 × 25

Curved Surface Area of the conical tent = 550 m²

Curved Surface Area of the conical tent is equal to the area of the cloth

Curved Surface Area of the conical tent = Area of cloth

550 m² = Length × breadth

550 = Length × 5

[Given : breadth = 5 m]

Length = 550/5 = 110 m

Length of the cloth used = 110 m

Cost of cloth =  ₹ 25 per meter

Total cost of cloth used = 110 × 25  = ₹ 2750

Hence , the Total cost of cloth used is ₹ 2750
