by phythogores theorem 5 sq =4 sq+x sq

25=16+x sq

x sq=9

x=3

we cut 1.6m from 3m

=1.4

by phythogores theorem

5m sq =1.4m sq+x sq

25=1.96+x sq

x sq=23.04

x=4.8

so the answer: it's hight is 4.8m
