In our modern times a new problem has been noticed which very threatening,  the lack of fresh water, which used by the living beings, especially by human beings for not only drinking but also for many more purposes like industrial and household activities.

Explanation:

There is some good source of fresh water, they are from the mountains where the ice melts and flow downwards, then comes rainfall, and the other important source is underground water. As there is huge air pollution caused by many industries, rainwater is also getting acidified, making it unusable, and there are so many flats and apartments being built, and underground waters are sucked by pumps, causing the underground water table goes down.
