Answer:

IT IS THE QUESTION OF DIRECT AND INVERSE PROPOTIONS ACCORDING TO MY EXPERIENCE AND QUESTION.(HINT : THIS IS A DIRECT PROPOTIONAL QUESTION)

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of pole = 50 ft

Shadow cast by it = 95 ft

Height of second pole = 5 ft

Shadow cast by it = ?

Let, the shadow cast by it be y2

Height of pole (x) = 50 5

Shadow cas by it (y) = 90 y2

x1/y1 = x2/y2

50/90 = 5/y2

90×5/50 = y2 (both 0 canceled)

9×5/5 = y2 (both 5 canceled because 5÷5=1)

9 = y2.

• • Hence , Shadow cast by 5 ft pole is 9 ft.
