A 50 m long train pases over a brigde at a speed of 30 km/h. If it takes 36 seconds to cross the bridg, what is the lenght of a bridge

let the length of bridge be xm

length of train = 5Om

distance covered by train = (50+x) m

speed = 30km/h => 30x5/18 => 25/3 m/s

time taken = 36 s

we know that,

speed=distance/time

distance = Speed X time

50+x = 25/3x36

x = 300-50=> 250m
