A 500 g particle tied to one end of a string is whirled in
vertical circle of circumference 14 m. If the tensionat
the highest point of its path is 2 N. what is its speed​

Given:

Mass, m = 500 g = 0.5 kg

Tension, T = 2 N

Speed, v = ?

g = 9.8 m/s^2

Circumference =  2\pi r = 14 m

Therefore, r =  \dfrac{14}{2\pi}

We know that,

 \boxed{T = \dfrac{m{v}^{2}}{r}- mg }

 2 = \dfrac{0.5 \times {v}^{2}}{\dfrac{14}{2 \pi}} - 0.5 \times 9.8

 {v}^{2} = \dfrac{6.9 \times 14 \times 7}{0.5 \times 2 \times 22}

 v^{2} = 30.736

 \boxed{ v = 5.544}

Its speed is 5.544 m/s
