Answer:

60 km/hr (in geeks for geeks answer is 40 km/hr because in question direction is not mentioned clearly)

Explanation:

let the speed of train be x km per hr

since the man is moving in the different direction of train therefore

relative speed = x-10

length of the train = 500 m = 0.5 km

time taken = 36 sec = 36/3600 hr

therefore We know that Distance = Speed x Time

=> 0.5 = (T - 10) x (36 / 3600)

=> 50 = T - 10

=> T = 60 km / hr
