A 50m long train passes over a 250m long bridge at a velocity of 60km/h. how long will it take to pass completely over the bridge?​

Given,

Length of train = 50m

Length of bridge = 250m

Velocity of train= 60 kmph = 60×(5/18) mps = (50/3) mps

[°•° 1 kmph = (5/18) imps]

Distance Covered = (50 + 250)m = 300m

Required time= Distance covered/Velocity

•°• Required time= 300/(50/3)

= (300×3)/50

= 900/50

= 90/5

= 18 sec

•°• Train takes 18 seconds to cross the bridge completely.
