We know that tan \theta\\ = \frac{Perpendicular}{Base}

=> In Δ ABC,

tan ∠ACB = \frac{50}{75}                            --(i)

and In Δ DBE,

=> tan ∠DEB =  \frac{35}{x}                            --(ii)

We also know that ∠ACB = ∠DEB        (corresponding angles)

Therefore, from equation (i) and (ii),

=>  \frac{50}{75}  =  \frac{35}{x}

=> x = \frac{35*75}{50}

=> x = 52.50

Therefore, the length of the shadow casted by the building of 35m height is 52.50m
