Answer:

Let mass of railroad car m1 and its velocity be v1 , mass of another railroad car be m1 and its velocity v2.

m1=52000. v1=1.5. m2=20000. v2= 0

m1v1+m2v2= (m1+m2) v

52000×1.5+0= (72000)v

v= 78000/72000

v= 1.08m/s
