Mass of the box = 52 kg

Frictional force = 150 N

Constant force needed to move across the floor = 150 N

Displacement of the box = 12 m

Work done = Force × displacement

i) Work done = 150 × 12 = 1800 Joules

Hence, the work done is 1800 Joules.

ii) Height to which it needed to be raised (h) = 12 m

Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s^2

Work done against the gravity = mgh

Work done against the gravity = 52 × 9.8 × 12

Work done against gravity = 6115.2 Joules
