In (c) 36 was the multiplying number given in R.H.S. but missing in L.H.S so it is common multiplier in L.H.S. and (84+16) given in L.H.S is splitted into 36 x 84 + 36 x 16 in R.H.S.

In (d) 218 x 94 splits into (218 x 100) - (218 x 6). If you can see where 218 becomes common factor and 100-6 becomes 94.

In (e) 778 x 994 spilts into (778 x 1000) - (778 x 6). If you can see where 778 becomes common factor and 1000-6 becomes 994.
