object distance (u) = -30cm (obj distance should be taken -ve)

objective: find image height.

lens formula= 1/v - 1/u = 1/f

1/v - 1/-30 = 1/10

1/v = 1/10 + 1/-30

(find LCM)

1/v = 3/30 + (-1/30)

1/v = 2/30

(flip both sides)

v/1 = 30/2

v = 15.5 cm

now we have image distance we can start finding its height.
