Answer:

Length of inner rectangle =60m

Breadth of inner rectangle =30m

Thickness of lawn =5m

⇒ Length of outer rectangle =60+5+5=70m

Breadth of outer rectangle =30+5+5=40m

Area of lawn = Area of outer rectangle − Area of inner rectangle

=70×40−60×30

=2800−1800

=1000m²

Given,

  • Length of inner triangle = 80 m
  • Breadth of inner triangle = 40 m
  • Thickness of the path = 5 m
  • Length of outer triangle = 80+5+5 = 90 m
  • Breadth of outer triangle = 40+5+5 = 50 m

We know the equation:

\boxed{\bold{\sf{Area \ of \ Rectangle=Length\times Breadth}}}

\sf{\implies Area \ of \ outer \  Rectangle=90\times50=4500 \ m^2}

\sf{\implies Area \ of \ inner \  Rectangle=80\times40=3200 \ m^2}

\boxed{\bold{\sf{Area \ of \ Path=Area \ of \ outer \ Rectangle-Area \ of \ inner \ Rectangle}}}

\sf{\implies Area \ of \ Path=4500-3200}

\sf{\implies Area \ of \ Path=1300 \ m^2}

\boxed{\bold{\sf{\therefore Area \ of \ Path=1300 \ m^2}}}
