A 5ohm resistor is connected in series with a parallel combination of n resistors each
of 6 ohm.The equivalent resistance is 7ohm. Find n.​

Thus, three 6 ohm resistors are in parallel . then its equivalent rsistence willbe 1/6*12=12/6=2ohm. now together we have in series combination=(5+2)ohm=7ohm.
