A^6 - b^6
= (a^3)^2 - (b^3)^2
= (a^3 - b^3)(a^3 + b^3)
= ( a + b) (a^2 +b^2- ab) (a - b) ( a^2 + b^2 + ab)
= (a + b) (a - b) ((a^2 +b^2- ab) ( a^2 + b^2 + ab)

The answer is given below :

a^6 - b^6

= (a³ + b³)(a³ - b³)

= (a + b)(a² - ab + b²)(a - b)(a² + ab + b²),

which is the required factorization.

RULE :

a³ + b³ = (a + b)(a² - ab + b²)
a³ - b³ = (a - b)(a² + ab + b²)
