The velocity of the rolling rock will be 2 m/s.

How to solve this problem

Given:

Mass of rock, M = 6kg

Momentum of the rock, P = 12 kgm/s

To find:

Velocity of the rock, v =?

Solution:

The formula relating momentum with mass and velocity is P = mv.

to find velocity,

v= P/m

v = 12/6

Velocity v= 2 m/s

So the answer will be 2 m/s.
